Guided Fishing on the Brule River and North Shore Tributaries
A typical day on the water starts out early, hiking the remote trails to the river while enjoying solitude and beautiful fall colors or spring foliage. We will spend the morning working through spots looking to introduce you to one of these beautiful fish. Around noon, we will make our way back to the parking area and enjoy a tailgate lunch that typically consists of brats or burgers and a cold salad dish. After a bite to eat and some discussion of an afternoon game plan we will either head back down to the river or relocate to a new stretch. We will continue to work through spots, stopping for photographs when needed, as all fish will be released. Our day will commence leaving you with a basic understanding of techniques to chase the migratory trout of Lake Superior. You will also leave with a new appreciation of one of the most beautiful, wild places in the Midwest: the North and South Shores of Lake Superior.
All rods, reels, tackle and lunch are provided. All you need to bring is sunglasses, waders, felt soled wading boots, and a water resistant jacket.
So what are my options?
Trophy Bluegills This is our most popular trip option and will take you to the back county looking for the bluegill of a lifetime. While a trophy bluegill is not guaranteed, we work our hardest to put you onto that bluegill you have been dreaming about. We had a lot of personal best bluegills caught this past summer that included 3 fish in the 11" range, including a monster 11 1/4" giant. Leave the GPS at home and let us take care of the rest. All rods, reels and tackle are provided, along with high end electronics and expert instruction. In the summer we will be fishing in a 2014 Crestliner 1750 Fish Hawk. This allows us to sneak into remote venues without sacrificing comfort or stability. Our winter trips take place in Clam portable fish houses that will be moved throughout the day to keep you looking for that trophy. We provide professional quality photos of your trip. $400 full day only.

A great affordable trip option for those anglers looking to log some time on the water without breaking the bank. Our goal is to provide you with a fun filled fishing excursion for the price of dinner and a movie. We work very hard to keep our finger on the pulse of area lakes and will take you where the bite is HOT! You will also go home with a delicious fish dinner for you and your family to enjoy. All equipment is provided so you can simply sit back and enjoy a beautiful evening on the water. $275 for up to 3 people. Contact us for availability.
Full day crappies, trout, bass, or walleye (Year round) Whether you are on a family vacation to the area or are local and interested in learning some techniques to pursue panfish, trout or bass on your own, this trip is for you. We fish many lakes and will be able to suggest a hot bite when you call. All equipment is provided. These full day trips also include cleaning of your catch and a hot lunch. Up to 3 people $400. Full and half day sight fishing for rainbow trout (Winter 1/17- 3/31) Few things in life are as exciting as watching a large rainbow trout inhale your jig, so once the Minnesota winter trout season begins these trips keep us busy. We will take you out in an insulated and heated Clam hub style shelter and show you the ropes when it comes to sight fishing rainbow trout. All rods, reels and tackle are provided along with fish processing. Never tried fishing trout in the winter, contact us today! $400 full day, $275 half day.
